Does anyone know of a source that sells sheets or blocks (1.5" wide) of Micarta 3/4" or 1" thick?

Thanks!

In the past there have been some blocks of the stuff available here on BF. That was a while back, but I think that they were approx. 2" x 2" x 5" or so. They were green in color.

You can search for Garolite at McMaster Carr online. They have just about any size you need. You will see several different grades, including CE, which is what I *think* you want. They also have G10 and G11. The CE stuff is the canvas "tan/light brown" or "natural" color. You could also call them and see if anyone could advise you.

I've heard Halpern Titanium also sells phenolic material, but not sure what all they have or what size you have to order...

Sheffield Knife Supply has about 15 or so choices in 1-1/8 thick, 1.5x5 and 5x12.

I have some 7/8" stuff on hand just now. gray, green, brown, tan made from linen like burlap. Email / PM me if interested. I can make anything you like too.

James Todd has some 3/4" and 1-1/2" g11 in the for sale section

Thanks.

It is not Micarta, but G-11 and I only have one color, click the link in signature to take you to the thread and look at the knives made with it.
