Gress, you own some darn nice Hinderers. I want that fatty like I've never wanted a "fatty" ever before.

^ Ha. Yes, Gress that is a beauty. I've always admired the fatty slicers a LOT. Great historical Hinderer right there!

Very impressive. That things a beast ! Just what. I needed, another knife on the want list, lol. That's very cool.

As rare as they are, they are out there. To me these are the ultimate Hinderers :)

Does anyone have any info on how many and what format the fattys were made in? (slicer/Spanto etc or were they all slicers?)

Type in "Hinderer Fatty" on youTube and see what pops up...

I tried that...and didn't get the results I expected. That's why I asked here. I tried Google, too. Same results...I guess I was looking for some sort of compiled list of blade types and how often they were/are produced.

Results form searching won't result in many finds because there are so few of the fattys out there. But as customs...They were created in more than just Slicer...Spanto and a Dagger-style exist. Others exist too but not all of them see the light of day or are owned by folks that participate in the forums, etc.

I don't own one, but want level is high.

I believe I've seen a dagger-style fatty before, but I'm not sure...sounds familiar though. The only other fattys I've seen were mentioned above. Beautiful knives!

Thanks, Mike.

Betting Rick may also know. But to me it really doesn't matter the facts on this one. They exist, they are few and they are a piece of the Hinderer story...a very beefy piece.

That is one sexy XM!!! Congrats on a rare bird indeed!! Would love to see one in person sometime :D

Gress. That fatty spanto is incredible!!! Congratulations. That is such a huge score. I'm happy for you.

Gress......WOW....fatty slicer and a fatty spanto.......that is impressive !!!!

And they look amazing......congrats, sir !!
