top -- 15 inch 18 ounce perfect Sirupati by Sher. Very nice karda and chakma. Village sarki scabbard. Only problem grainline in horn handle that will probably never go anywhere. $60.

center -- 18 inch two pound AK by Bura. Perfect khukuri. Excellent karda, good chakma. Village sarki scabbard. Same problem as above --grainline in horn that won't go anywhere. $95

Beautiful silver mounted Garud by Kumar. Excellent handle by Newari carving man. Knife perfect. Good karda and chakma. Village sarki scabbard took a hit during shipping and split on cutting edge side. Wire wrap with silver wire or send to Terry Sisco for custom. $145

Yep - but the choice between stuff I've been drooling over for a while at 20% off, and a nice blem. It's pretty painful.

Received my Garuds today. Love the carving. Had a quick look at them in the garage before rushing in to check on Mom and fix her dinner.

Trying to learn how to carve Wood spirits in hiking staff, I am amazed at the consistency in the carving on the Garuds. All my carvings are never the same. Will have to go over the Garuds in detail tonight. They came thru in good condition.

Next staff I try to carve, I am going to try to emulate the Hanuman Man. Think it would be cool. The Dragon is beyond my capabilities at this time. :)
