if you remember my earlier thread, i recently bought my first Spyderco, and as you can see, ive picked up a couple more along the way.
no more Benchmades for me, these are very nice knives:thumbup:

ok...i'll clarify what i said. i have several Benchmades, been a fan and loyal customer since the 90's, but i wont be buying any more. change is good

what happend?

nothing too serious really....the last two Benchmades ive bought (Grip and a mini Grip) both had uneven grinds and required a good sharpening right outta the box.
its really no biggie, and im not anti BM by any means, i own several, and they are great knives. i had never owned a Spyderco before, so i thought id change it up a bit.... and im very happy with the decision. like i said, sometimes change is good.

is there any reason why my Police model DOESNT say "Police" on the blade? just curious

Ya there's nothing wrong with switching it up, I make my rounds of all the popular brands. I've been on a ZT kick lately but just ordered my 3rd Para 2 yesterday, the all black DLC version. Then I'll probably go back to benchmade for a bit, been eyeballing the 520 Presidio or the 525 mini. Also got this Strider craving since I got my first SNG and fell in love but the prices are tough. I'd love to get an XM-18 one day too, that's really tough.

You should grab a PM2 or milie, those are some of my favorite EDCs of all time. Not sure why they removed the "Police" from the new models, maybe someone else knows.

i honestly was gonna go with a millie when i ordered the Police model, but the price on the Police was so darn good i couldnt pass on it.

as for the Benchmades, the only one that i keep looking at is the 755 Sibert. theres just something about that stout little knife that makes me want one.

ya you must have found a really good price because the g10 police is usually more than a military
