3 blade stockman question?!?

hey guys, so i recently cleaned up a 3 blade stockman but the little emblem on the scale fell off. i dont know if its my ocd acting up but to me its less appealing all of a sudden. what i want to no is if you feel the same way with your knife or does it not matter to you if a minor detail falls of a knife that you like.
(for the curious mind its a steel warrior series knife)
also does anyone edc a traditional folder?

I wouldn't consider the shield a minor detail. It's kind of the main detailing piece of a traditional knife, not to mention a signature of sorts for a lot of different companies and lines there in.

I would also suggest taking a look at the traditional and fixed blade sub forum for more traditional talk.

To answer your question though, I do EDC a few, namely a Northfield #33 Conductor in Ebony with a bail, or a Case Sway Back Jack in CV and amber bone.
 
That would really bother me too. I'd suggest replacing the handle scales, so there isn't a lonely spot missing it's shield :(
 
A steel warrior series knife is in the $15 range
Buy some colored epoxy and fill the hole

Well, if a minor decorative detail falls off a 15 dollar knife, I don't really care. (If its a 15 dollar Frost Cutlery, I would consider myself lucky if it didn't explode for no apparent reason.)

If a minor decorative detail falls off a knife I use to cut things at any price, I don't really care. If it isn't affecting cutting performance, so what?

Safe queen or collector piece...then I would care. Stuff shouldn't be falling off those.
