I bought a handful (REALLY!) of knives at a flea market a couple of days ago, they were all used and in various conditions but at 3 bucks a pop i couldnt say no.
Included in the lot was a Kershaw vapor, which had been sharpened and looked like it had been carryed but seamed ok. Its the first time i've had one, and it cuts ok, (not as well as my opinel!) and is nice and slim and has a good healthy looking lock.
The problem is that the nasty little thumb stud is way too small and the pivot is way too stiff!
Its not a case of just loosening the screw- i tried that and it just made the blade loose without loosening the 'action' at all. Its an ok knife, and i dont really mind having to deploy it like a two handed slipjoint, but does anyone have an idea of how to make the blade swing more easily without loosening the pivot?
Thanks in advance
