I could have sworn that I saw a pic of a Sebenza with laser cut scales that had 3 crosses on a mountain top. I have been searching high and low for this but can not find it. Any suggestions?

I believe the graphic you are looking for is called "Calvery". It has the hill with 3 crosses.

Yup, I had one and sold it a while back. Very nice knife. At the time I think you could only order them through a forum member?? I don't know if this has changed or whether they are still making the design.

Found this pic at Lynn O Olsen collector knives.

BBQ type calvary sebenza into google and it will give you several pages of leads to follow.

that's it!!! Where can I find one? Will CR make one special?

I assume so. "Calvary" is a unique graphic design, much like "In Remembrance" or "Night Sky", developed by CRK's awesome resident graphic designer, Lisa. Give CRK a call, and they can tell you what the various options are (annodizing, inlays, etc.) are for a Calvary UG. Mine's an oldie -- here it is:

About a year ago i called to find out about this. It isnt a production model but its a computer generated model that is programed into the computer and can be made to order. Or atleast that used to be the case. So just call them and tell them that you want to order a "calvary model"

Calvary is not laser engraved or a computer generated graphic. Lisa makes them on a manual (not CNC) milling machine and they are unique graphics.

As I understand it these are not made anymore, nor can they be replicated since it's a unique graphic.

Unique graphics Sebenzas (including the Calvary design) can be replicated, but as nifegrinder says, Lisa does her magic using a manual mill, so each one will turn out slightly different, or maybe a lot different, depending upon what you want.

True North had one of these for sale a few months ago.You may ask him and he may have Chris Reeve make one for you.
You can also call and talk to Heather at Chris Reeve knives and talk about options and they should be able to make you one.
I believe a gentleman called "Tall Paul",had one made for him.He may be the one who designed the pattern.Maybe he will post and let us know the story of the "Calvary Sebenza".
It is a beautiful pattern but not very commonly made.

In my experience with CRK, they really do go out of their way to make things happen for you. I understand that at the moment there is a roughly one-month backorder on Sebenzas from the factory. When I emailed CRK and told them my request (Christmas gift for my father) they had my Seb finished, complete with silver ambi thumb lugs (not standard) and engraved text, in about two weeks- it just arrived today. I was worried that it wouldn't come in time for Christmas, and here it is (looking great, by the way) well before I expected. Heather is the one who helped me out, and she is fantastic. Some requests are just not possible for them to accommodate, but give them a call/email and I'm sure they will do their best.
