3-finger-knife

Hi folks,

I think this is my first post in this gallery...
just finished a small 3-finger knife.

specs:
5.7 in OAL
2.6 in blade of 3.5 mm RWL 34
Handrubbed to 1200 grit

Blade is one side flat ground, handle is dyed and stabilizied maple.

Gorgeous. I don't know if anyone else knows this or not, but Junkers does this all with hand tools (files and such). His attention to finish is great considering it is all done this way. I do it the same and his finish looks ten times as good as mine, so I know he is putting serious hours into this work. Well worth it, but we need to get this guy a grinder! :D

@Protactical: no stamp, the mark/name is engraved...not by me, but by the knifemaker who also does the heatthreat for me. He uses one of those 'copying engravers' (don't know the correct name), so he can make it in different sizes, using the same pattern (on this one, the engraving is a bit large).
