That means, Giraffe Bone Kitchen knives!
It was new years eve, and I was feeling pretty good, I said to a friend of mine that I was going to make 3 more kitchen knives before I raise the price. He said, 'I'll take one' and another friend said 'I'll take one' and then their Neighbor heard what was going on and she said 'I"ll take one, too' and like that they were gone, that was 6 months ago. But I had to make knives for the ACE show and OKCA show then Blade Show, so I just now got them done before I start work on my new orders.

Dave those are some really cool knives. The Damascus is crazy and it seems I like everything you make these days.

Great work, Jon

Thank you all. They are a lot of fun to make. As you can see they are all from the same billet I am not sure what was more fun making the zigzag W's, or using G bone for handles. OK, it was using the G bone I was in need of a G bone handle fix this took care of it. Chuck, if you see this i'm sorry. I know' I know.

those wide blades really show off your talent and skill making that pattern welded steel Dave:thumbup: They're very shapely, to boot. I might have a hard time keeping myself from hanging one of those on the wall behind a frame if I had one. But on second thought, that just ain't how I roll. A good knife is a shame to waste as decor- no matter how nice it looks!

What's the big deal about handle material, anyway? People can be such snobs about these trivial things:rolleyes: I mean, as long as that material is stable and durable, what's to complain about?

Lorien I an not sure why it is not more accepted as a good handle material but I will tell you this my friends that are not knife folks they just want a nice kitchen knife to cook with think it is the best looking handles they have ever seen it is smooth and the shmoots wipes off easily so I tend to useit on knives for them as I like to use it now and then.

Dave
Great lookin stuff! I've never used the G bone but you've definately got my curiousity up. Beautiful Damascus!
