3 line ~ 4 line?

The four line, I believe was 1945, not sure of the three line, but will try to find an answer if no one else knows.
 
The four line stamp was used through the end of WWII. In 1946 the "new" three line stamp and a new numbering system were introduced. With millions of knives in process and a huge inventory of parts at the end of the war, it took some time before the four line stamp was totally phased out.
