2 M1 Garand bayos, the 7" is an Imperial bought from CMP unissued made in 1953. The 10" is an uncut E-US made in 1943, still in great shape. the M16 bayo was made by Colt in 1963, also unissued. The 2 unissued bayos have perfect blades and points as one would expect from NIB. The 1943 has seen some use but looks great for 68 years old. It's the one that resides on my M1. ;)
I have an order in with the CMP for 2 cut down Springfield Armory and one cut down Oneida bayos of the 10 inch variety. Hopefully they ship soon, CMP has been bogged down since before the holidays. Can't wait to get a real 16" when they become available, if I'm one of the lucky ones. I might order a Rock Island Armory cut down one as well, just because.

Very cool. I have an M7 with an M8A1 sheath that I bought for myself at a gunshow in 2001. (My birthday.) I picked it up, loved the feel of it, and had to have it. Bought a few over the years, then sold/traded most. Still like the topic though. I need to get my bayonet book out again.

Thanks for sharing.
