Here are 3 new hard use knives I am calling my Mini Tac Bowies.
Thay have a hand rubbed scotchbrite forge finish that should be very easy to maitain.
The canvas micarta scales are hand carved for tons of grip.
The sheaths are drying right now. let me know what you think.:D

great knives, man! from the initial pics i was expecting them to be smaller for some reason. they look like a great size for what i'm looking for. i dig everything about this knife. i even like how you cut to the chase on the finish. A+!

Ben,

I really like the looks of these three knives.

The finish is perfect (at least for me) it looks like something that begs to be used hard and that would stand up to that hard use and yet be easy to keep looking the way it came (within reason.) They give the appearance of a rough and tumble knife yet that same quality makes them a beautiful, at least to me. I love the scales and the way you carved them for grip even wet I think they would be really grippy.

I don't know if you were going for a balance between a custom knife that one would want to buy and put on a shelf to look at and a tough use me now for whatever you need to get out of trouble knife but that sure looks like what you got. All in all a great looking package that should be a great knife for those of us who use them hard but want more then just a chunk of steel.

That is definitely something I would consider buying and using the tar out of. Can't wait to see pics with the sheaths.
