I got a lot of negative feedback when I posted a render of this design with some comparing it to a cheap utility knife. I often find there's a considerable difference between renders and a real world product. What do you guys think?

Meh. Too many straight lines and I still really just don't like the blade shape. I also wonder how comfortable a tight grip would be with the huge chamfers on the handle.

I don't mind the blade shape myself.

I would maybe round over the scales as opposed to chamfers like danbot danbot said tho.

I also wonder if the "hump" should be lessened on the underside of the handle where your fingers rest. I'm guessing you get 3 fingers in front of the "hump" and one behind? I have a big hand. That "hump" might result in my ring finger sitting on the "hump".

I like it although not a fan of flipper only.

The lines flow well with a fitting combination of curves and straight edges. The clip looks like it might be more comfortable in the palm than most. This is not my preferred style of knife, but I think the aesthetics are good.

It's, I mean it's not terrible. It just looks like everything else We or Reate makes. This is a drop in an ocean, and will be lost accordingly I'm afraid.
