It sort of depends on what grinder frame you are using. I believe the Grinder in a box requires a 56C frame to bolt in for direct drive (which I assume you'll want to do with your vfd, but maybe not?). The enclosure I'm not familiar with, TE I would assume is a totally enclosed, but usually it says something about how it's cooled, tefc totally enclosed fan cooled is kind of the standard. Check the shaft diameter and make sure you can find a drive pulley. it's not hard to bore one out but if you don't have the equipment for it, that'll be one more step. The short answer I believe, is yes, you can use it but you'll need to sort out the rest of the puzzle to how easily you can use it.

Good on you for posting the specs with the question

Bolt pattern Frame 143 is the same as 56C
Shaft diameter is larger, but you can buy wheels in that size

143TC
Find out what the TC means.
You want a keyed shaft
The extra letters often mean funny threaded and unkeyed shafts and stuff

IIRC, TC means that it has standard frame measurements and has C faced.mounting

That's correct. Depending on what grinder you're getting though, a 143TC bolt hole pattern is not going to line up with a 56C (standard for most production grinders) pattern, and is a little larger in diameter if I recall. Not to say it can't be adapted, but I'd suggest OP do a quick search for the face mount dimensions of a 143 size frame vs the 56 frame.
