Hello everyone. Here is a set of custom kitchen knives we completed this month. The handles on all 3 knives are Musk ox horn. The 2 large knives have buckeye burl bolsters.


Paring knife. One of a kind mosaic pattern damascus forged by HHH Knives.
Nakiri , Galaxy pattern damascus forged with a meteorite and 1095 high carbon steel. Also HHH Knives
Santoku . Tsunami pattern forged by HHH Knives

Box is Curly maple and walnut. Made by my friend Tom. to my specs.

Amazing looking set of blades. Nice box as well. Would hate to see the price tag lol.
 
I am new to the world of knife making, in fact i just ordered the steel for my first knife this week, but i just found my inspiration. Those are absolutely beautiful. I may crack open my wayne goddard book and reread the parts on forging damascus steel. I really really want to do something like that some day.
 
it sounds like im in the same boat you are. ive been forging for just a short time, only made a few simple knives, but just ordered up my first real knife-worthy steel and am excited to start some real work. Cant believe the craftsmanship on these knives. These would blow anyone away, really amazing work!
