3 pieces of gear for THE END!!

I was reading a thread by "blixx" in the general knives forum about the knife you would take into the apocalypse and it gave me this idea.

You have to choose 3 pieces of gear to take with you into the apocalypse. This can be any kind of apocalypse you want but you have to specify what it is in your post.

The gear can be anything books, knives, tents etc.
Also assume you have clothes and shoes and a pack big enough for your items

Example
"Zombies-Beef Jerky, Beef Jerky, Beef Jerky"

Financial meltdown and society dissolves: Glock 17 with a ton of ammo, my new Tackett knife, and as many cases of Nordeast beer as I can stockpile.
 
My library [about 1.6 TB of books and such], drugs [fool if I don't], condoms [no point keep diggin' the same hole].
 
A nice dinner, a nice bottle of wine and good company to share it with.

Haha these are great. Based on this if disaster strikes I'm becoming a pimp that sells glocks!

Ya' know, I actually thought up 3 of the most random, non-connected things I could to post, and now, lookin' back, I realize just how connected they could be! LOL
