Why is there no Scrap Yard forum around here? Ok, well my Lardoganza spoils arrived, and I had a chance to chop away with them. The majority are Rats, so I guess this is the place...

Nice pics. I'm really digging the desert tan coating on the dogfather. It seems a lot slicker than most coatings - I imagine it will be easier to keep clean, and also reduce friction a bit when chopping.

That's a black handled Vex. The DF chops differently than the waki. It delivers more of a solid thud. It has no vibration in the hand. That grip is very comfortable. The waki chops well to but being longer, its less forgiving if you don't hit square on the edge. It can have a bit of a vibration. Takes getting used to 2 hand chopping. It went though every size limb we could find.
 
Very cool pics. You live in the perfect place to own knives like that. I'm lovin the Vex.
