top -- 17 inch 27 ounce Ganga Ram Special by the old master, Bura. Great Ganga style karda and chakma and nobody makes them better. Overall rig 10/10. Take it home for an even $100 and save $50 off regular.

center -- Another of Kumar's very interesting hybrid AK & M43. 18 inches, 22 ounces, and very quick. Unusual Cho by Kumar helps ID this offering. It's 10/10 work by Kumar and at $125 I have to put it in the UBBB category.

bottom -- Made to spec at 16.5" and 1.5 pounds the Amtrak kami, RR (swastika) had done a very good job on this one. Should last 100 years with no problems. Yours for $50 off regular at $75.

Call or email.

BGRS is a very nice khuk - that's probably what I'll be toting at the convention.

I like the AK + M43 hybrid, though. It's got the great M43 lines. Wonder what the balance is like.

I like the WWII, but have to save for the Convention.

That hybrid khuk sure looks graceful. I especially like the way the blade tapers to a point. I may have to get one of those.

Hope that Ganga Ram made enough from his visit to Birghorka to carry him a long time. I wonder if he is still alive. Maybe Pala can tell us, though I doubt it. Anyone else remember his claim to make magic blades that get sharper from use?

It reminds me of Yvsa's definition of an NDN family: A man; a woman; two kids; one or more dogs; and their anthropologist. Still, if there had been an anthropologist tape recording Ganga Ram's tales, translated into english, I'd love to read them.

the yvsa special i have that broke 2 times, and had to be reshaped and sharpened is almost exactly like the blade shape on the ganga ram.
the yvsa special is my favourite user.:)
