top - Perfect 21.5" 35 ounce Chitlangi by Kumar. Can't find anything to complain about. Beautifully done handle. Great rig. Good Chitlangi style scabbard. Take it home for $100 -- UBBB

center -- late arrival Christmas gift from Bura. Almost 20 inches and 27 ounces of perfectly executed Cherokee Rose. Great effort. Christmas red leather scabbard. Very nicely carved handle by Bura -- the two fish from the Tashi Dili. A true steal for $175.

bottom -- Very interesting offering by Kumar. I'm not sure what to call it. 18 inches and pound and a half. Looks to be sort of a hybrid M43-AK. Bolster and chape are silver. Buttcap is steel polished up well enough to look silver. Quick and easy to handle Not a steal but a real bargain at $125. One of a kinder.

Paying $850 for exhaust system on the pickup tonight. Any questions?

Aardvark, if you put your mind to it, perhaps you could fix the old exhaust system with a new khukuri? Just a thought;)

Maybe with the new khuk, I could convince the DMV that it doesn't REALLY have to pass the smog test. Good thought.

M43-AK AHHHHHHHH! I was too slow.
Curses PG!:D
Seriously; that looks to be a special blade.
Enjoy it Brother.
Regards,
Greg

I want that Cherokee Rose. It's beautifull.

The AK43 looks intriguing doesn't it? It looks like something that could be the ideal size, shape and weight for me. I don't have an M43 or anything with silver /or steel fittings yet, so this is gonna be a treat!

The Cherokee Rose looks beautiful... Somebody better snap that up quick before I plunge myself yet another fathom into debt. I am finding that I have a penchant for red scabbards too...
:)

Thankyou, I think.

So Yvsa, how many Cherokee Roses is that for you?

I should know better than to look at the daily specials. I'm like one of those women with a clothes shopping addiction, except for knives. We need a support group.

Uncle Bill, did you get my second e-mail with address and payment info for the 21" Chitlangi UBBB?

Actually this place comes with a support group. Everyone here understands HIKV. :)

I'm like Rusty and don't count Heber.;)
Well, actually it's four, but I gave one away. I wanted the last CR with the carved handle, but just didn't.
This one was just too tempting as you know and .......;)

Maybe I will make a proper sheath for this one. The sarkis paid absolutely No Attention to the model sheath I sent the model CR in!!!!!
The original didn't have that big old ugly uprising on the top of it. And the original was made so that the frog could be slipped off over the end and turned around making the sheath left handed.
I only put the strap on for those who worry about loseing a knife without it and the sarkis got it backwards as well.

Argh, another M43i (M43-improved) escapes into the wild instead of being brought home to meet my Sher version. The same except for mine is all steel furniture and with horn handle. Good to see all the guys working on new variations.
