3 -- Perfect 20" 2 pound heft (7/16 thich) Sirupati by Kumar. The guy knows how to make a khukuri. 10/10 rig. Not a blem. Delivered to your door for $75 and another UBBB.

Email. If you want a pix of any of these send $25 or a case of Heineken.

That cracked handle on that Chit is a dead cinch fix. Pulverize some pecan shells into a fine powder and stir it into your epoxy. The reddish brown hue is an excellent match for the saatisal, making the repair dang near invisible. One heck of an awesome khukuri for 75 bucks and some old pecan shells.;)

I would say that I was sorry but...man I wanted that blade!:D I was getting ready to order one from the site (some time this week) and fate (a.k.a Uncle Bill) smiled on me and there it was. It really is a race sometimes. It is enough to make me feel bad because these are such great products and when they are a deal the price is beyond belief. I know I have missed one or two by just a bit. Just more reasons to hang around here all of the time.:)

I am willing to believe that you're meant to have that blade. My webmail client wouldn't load, and when I resorted to Outlook, it crashed my computer. By the time I rebooted, your happy fingers were all over it.

Maybe it was God's way of telling me, "Hey, you'll put your eye out!"

And she's mine!!

If I mix saatisal sawdust in the epoxy, I seem to get a filler darker than the wood. Sounds like the pecan shells produce a lighter filler??

I'm thinking to use Devcon Two-Ton epoxy. Anyone have a better suggestion?

Love Chitlangis...Some day I'm gonna get some Japanese waterstone slipstones and see if I can clean up the fullers where I knocked the edges down convexing the bevel on my 18 incher. It was a chore with benchstones that takes a couple of evenings, but it's well worth the time and the wear on the stones. Huge difference, even though there are still a couple of small hollows in the middle of the bevel.

I have definitely have a better suggestion.....Send it to me to be babied along with the rest of my RR collection:D Last time I let daughter talk me into going out for lunch when I have some $$ burning a whole in my pocket:( You better take good care of it;)

Trying to talk me out of it before Uncle even puts it in the Post....Have you been talking to an unsavory anatine character known to frequent this forum?? Does hoghead know??
