IMG_3142.JPG Hello all, fairly new to BF, already hooked. Lots of everything here, knowledge, entertainment, opinions, and sometimes noise. I love it. Thought I would make my first thread based on things I know to be true:
*my wife makes better coffee than I do ( she's away this week visiting her mother, only 2 hrs away, but away is away )
*what I used to know and think important isn't so important anymore.
*the time and energy I put into my dog (one dog at a time over a span of 55 yrs) and wife ( just one ) have been the best investments I've made in this life.
Bonus * butter is better than margarine
So post 3 things you know to be "true"

One thing I don't know , why is there a box next to my thread?

You need to work on the coffee; your situation is not scriptural. The bible clearly states "Hebrews". :p Bonus,* love your dog.

The box is because you posted in the thread.

Dull knives are the work of the devil

cold brew coffee is amazing

Things I know (right now)...

1. It’s cold outside...
2. It’s warm inside (where I plan on spending the day)...
3. My coffee is just fine...

Cheers/bg

Camp coffee undoes the pre-dawn ground chill every time and every cup is the best ever
Two dogs over my long lifetime have valued me over food, and one of them is with me now :)
Chickadees lighting on my outstretched hand are hungry ... and trusting

The coffee I make tastes perfect to me.
The dog obeys me, but "belongs" to my daughter.
The cat is just here for the food.
The way "our" cat (99% hers, 1% mine) looks at me, I know
1 knarfeng knarfeng is correct
2 the cat is in in for the end game ( a 185 lb buffet)
3 as I posted "the wife is away" if I don't post in the next 72 hours........

I don't like coffee.

I like knives, swords and bayonets.

I don't like snow or ice, except in snow cones and glasses.

First off ... welcome to the forums ... hope you enjoy joining in ... and great looking dog.

#1. I don't drink coffee
#2. I just unboxed my first Umnumzan and I can't believe it took me so damn long to get one of these ... I love it.
#3. The older I get the more I know just how little I actually know.

Things I know..... Just bought a new vehicle.... I suspect it may well be the last vehicle I buy for myself. My wife says... please don't say such things or even think it....
Cats own you and not the other way around.
You can learn to make good coffee if you try. I never really tried.
Tea is king!

Welcome Cv, that's a good looking doggie ya got.

1. If you lined everyone in the world from smartest to dumbest, I wouldn't be first, but I sure as hell wouldn't be last either.
2. My Lions will never win a Superbowl.
3. I really hate snow and ice on the roads.
Bonus!
4. I will never own a Sebenza, midtech, custom, or other knife that costs more then $200.
a. I'm cheap
b. Wife would kill me.

1: Spend the money and buy good boots and a good bed. You spend most of your time in one or the other.
2: Time spent around a fire eating and drinking with friends and family is time well spent.
3: No politician has my interest in mind.

Thanks gazz98 gazz98 , he's part mutt and I'm not sure what the other parts are. But he's a keeper.

Three things I know about coffee:

Almost any gas station has a better cup of real coffee than you can get at Starbucks, and if it's stale they will almost always make another pot.

Despite the cowboy movies to the contrary, never drink hot coffee from a tin cup.

Coffee will absolutely not stunt your growth.

One thing I know for certain about women:
After 46 years of marriage, I still don't know anything about women.

Three things I know to be true.

1. The only vehicle I am truly happy driving is a full sized pick-up truck.
2. I like dogs better than people.
3. Im happiest when Im outdoors.

You know, I feel the same way about a pickup truck although it doesn't have to be a full sized one. You can just see better from them and they generally heat or cool down fast.
I am pretty content being outdoors in the woods, but I don't want to live in a tent.
