...I did not own 1 BK&T product. After receiving my first one, a BK2, I have gone downhill fast...and currently have a BK12 on order. My wife is going to kill me :eek:

I think you're off to a fast start. You just need to slow down and find time to use each one to it's potential. I know it's really hard to resist the temptation to have them all but you'll never understand the greatness of Becker until you get out and let them do what they were meant to do.

Welcome to Beckerville, where all the edges are sharp and every blade us way above average!

I try to limit myself to a Becker per holiday but not having any money helps, lol. You got a nice little family there very nice patinas :thumbup:
 
Thinking about the 9 for sure. I do have one of the new Scrapyard 1311's and another rather large Busse chopper, so the 9 is up in the air still :eek:
 
We need to see pics of your choppers so we can debate merits. :p
 
You definetly will want a 9, its a hell of a blade.

Actually you can send me the 1311 and ill do the debating merits for you :)

I need a 9. I decided that today after chopping for a while with the 7...

Nice family photos... I'm not able to do that right now.
 
I started with the BK2 as well. I do not remember which came next but I got a few more within a couple of weeks. My wife asks why I need so many knives. I tell her for different applications. She is not amused but we have a woodstove and she likes the heat and she sees me using the Beckers to process wood so she leaves me alone. And, yes a 9 would be great.
 
nice pics. get a 9. wth, right? whats ONE more...i'm sure you will be good after that and not need or want to buy any others.... right? i told myself that too...and i currently own 15 Beckers! lol i do need to part with a few i haven't or don't use as much.. thanks for sharing.
 
yes I know this road very well. Fortunately, I have almost all of the becker line (with some doubles) so that is enough to curb my becker cravings...for now...
 
I have a 1311 I like it, but I think you would really enjoy the 9.
