Some little ditties for the guys in far away time zones and others who are mostly confined to the nightshift.

top -- 18 inch 26 ounce WWII Chiruwa style by Kumar. Excellently done with beautiful glow in the dark saatisal handle. 10/10 rig and probably the best all round khukuri you can buy. Delivered to your door (if you live in the US) tomorrow for $95.

center -- Beautifully executed 18.5 inch 2 pound 18th century model by Kumar. Excellently done man sized horn handle on this one. Good karda and chakma and top notch scabbard by village sarki. We can ship it tomorrow for $95 delivered.

bottom -- 19.5 inch 21 ounce Kobra by the Old Master kami, Bura. Don't need to say much except Bura didn't stutter on this one. 10/10 rig overall and it's yours for $75 delivered.

Email me to get any or all of these nightshift specials.

Mmmmm, chiruwa-WWII... yummy! Somebody grab this one quick before I lose my steely nerve. Get this while you can, after I get in the new house I'll be back on the active prowl for these beauties!

Way to Go Uncle Bill!!!
this is like Christmas in January...
too bad my wife keeps pacing behind me. ;)

I8th Centuries feel unlike any other IIRC. Doen't mean good or bad, just different. Love it or hate it. Good for martial work. Real bad for cutting stuff with sap in it.

As I recall, a normal chop with a hammer grip would throw the point head on into a vertical surface in front of you. Like a warhammer, spontoon, or 'hawk. On a horizontal log, a normal cut would not strike at 12 o'clock as would be expected if you were standing, at 3 o'clock but would land at 10 o'clock on the opposite side.

I can see it going over and beyond a shield trying to block it, with it catching the shield close to the cho, and the belly slashing down behind the shield.

( Some of us are atavistic and a good weapon brings out the lupine alpha-male in us. ;) ;) ;) )

Not sure how it's going to handle, but I LIKE the way it looks. Agan, not sure why. But then again, ALL of the HI khuks look good.

I have a Chiruwa WWII and it's a beauty. Still haven't put blade to wood. Maybe someday. Or it may just stay where I can reach it.

Seabee...Nice catch! I'd have gone on it had I been home. Please give a report when you can...

:p

Customer from New Zealand said he wanted the Chiruwa WWII -- no shipping info, no payment method and no word since original note so if anybody wants this model email me. It doesn't pay to jump in with insufficent info and then go away.

Hi Guys
sorry about that Uncle Bill, spoted it while having a quick look on the university system. All info and payment coming. Too many sheeple looking over my shoulder at the time.

Hi Guys
Paypal sent. had to go off-campus to do it. A pox on PC IT sheeple and their agendas.
Regards
Phil

You're lucky, Fulplate. I don't think many people noticed it was open again. If it weighed 2 or 3 more ounces I would have got it for myself.

Hi Munk
yep, you have to be quick alright, heres me working away on an essay flicked open the forum only to see I'd made a bit of a mess of things (again).Still all sorted now. The blade weight isnt really an issue here as this one is to keep my 16.5 WW2 and BAS company.
