4.5" blade, 3.75" handle. Made from the last of my 1095. I've just started to taper the blade. The black is marker residue.

Any design suggestions while it is still early enough to make corrections?

btw, the suggestions from my last knife were not forgotten. I will incorporate more curves in this one, as well and bring the edge all the way down the blade.
 
drop point maybe? If it were me I'd cut at least 1/8" off the point, probably more, and taper it up to about a third of the length of the blade.
