I ordered this custom SAK from Syph007 back in 2012. Ive been carrying it every day since then. Here below are the original pictures from when it was new. I ordered this SAK with the red HA-III scales, a keyring hole, and the following tools: scissors, pliers, Phillips head screwdriver, cap lifter, and can opener (and no blade).
Here she is today:
As you can see, Syph has since made two modifications for me: 1) keyring hole removed and 2) can opener replaced with a small SAK blade. I originally wanted the keyring hole because my plan was to carry it with a pocket clip in a front pocket. And I originally didnt want a blade because I wanted to be able to take my SAK in places where a knife wasnt allowed.
Well, two years of experience later, I realized that I didnt like carrying it on a clip; it has settled into my back pocket Tony Bose style, next to my wallet. It disappears there and is always ready when I need it. Yes, when I take my wallet out, it falls down to lie horizontal under the wallet. That is comfortable, too. But then I noticed that the protrusion of the key ring hole was jabbing me in the posterior, so that had to go.
I also came to realize that a SAK counts as a tool and isnt allowed on a lot of international flights or high-security buildings, anyway, so it doesnt matter if it has a blade or not. And where tools are allowed, a tiny blade is usually also allowed. As for the can opener, in three years, Ive used it exactly once, so it wasnt proving very useful for me. So off it went, and on went a small SAK blade.
I love this SAK to death. I find myself using all of the tools I chose fairly often. Here is my original review from January 2013: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1024727-Review-–-Custom-SAK-by-Syph007
