Hi. new here. I have this old Randall and I'm trying to find out how old. How do you tell
 
There's a whole lot of "tells". Really need more / better pics. Based on what I see if it's a Heiser sheath it's likely mid-late 50's. If it's a Johnson sheath (Randall logo) it's likely early 60's.

Thanks. I'll stick with mid to late 50's primarily based on the sheath (Narrow stone pocket flap post ~'55 and horizontal keeper strap ~ pre '60). Other tells: Acorn nut post ~ '53 and deep choil ~ pre early 60's. Spacer set doesn't tell us much as it could go as far back as the 40's. This is all IMO and I'm no expert.
 
Potential use of old stock blades and sheaths in some cases not withstanding (and not in this case), Ron is correct - mid to late 1950's, most likely 1953 thru 1957 vintage. The spacer stack usually tells the story of when a older Randall knife was actually made. The second use of this particular spacer stack was during the dates I listed above...
