Hi,to all members here.

Please, does anybody ordered, own 30"inch model of AK or CAK and could post any pictures of it here and some stats, when it comes to its realistic dimensions and weight? I couldnt find any single posts on net, involving this exact superlarge model and what could be its price to be made? Thank you all

I have a 29" CAK from Sher that I posted in the cantina a while back. I can get you exact dimensions in a bit (I'm on my mobile) :)

It's a monster lol. Short of cerimonial uses, breaching a very large wood door or chopping a car in two I'm not sure what you would use it for other than simply basking in its awesomeness :P

There's a 25" that went the 11th? Around there. It was offered for 475 as a DOTD.

A 30" would be a beast.

Here are pics of the Sher 29" CAK. .. lol even got one with the Sher GCB :P

Thank you very much for sharing these pictures Spaceghost, wow, wicked blade ! How much this beauty set you back,if i may ask please? Did you take this monster into the woods and tried its chopping capabilities ?

This thread might be of interest, about "the largest specimens of HI models":

Steve, this is great post, possibly from HI archive, that 40"inch model of giant khuk from Old Sher,1"inch thick spine,i just wonder how many kamis were working on that one and for how long......these sort of extreme models are really nowhere to be seen on internet, until now,i didn't even had a clue, these sort of khuks can be done by HI.That thing would kill be sheer weight,or chop the leg off, when mishandled...concealed carry is possibly not an option here.....:)

I have a 26" HI custom AK 9/16" thick spine and weighs 4 lbs. 15 oz. Obviously not usable but it is a custom with carved handle and really looks like trouble on my wall. I also have a HI 20 1/2" custom Bowie that is gorgeous and a 26" Chilangi Bowie that is not custom. All from HI.

Hi Sawgrass, might you please post here some pictures of those badass blades?

I think I paid around 500 for it... worth every cent. As far as chopping? I split some logs with it... let's just say when you get this thing moving you'd better plan on having something large and hard to stop it lol.

If you are planning to get something for wood chopping I'd go smaller as it will do the same job faster and with less fatigue.

That is an awesome khukuri,29" CAK,thats possibly the largest CAK model that can be considered "practical"... Surely - chopper- is its definition, this thing must go through most of stuff like knife through butter.....Truly showpiece, those pictures are very good looking! Thank you spaceghost

I have good reason to believe that Spaceghost's 29" CAK is the largest HI CAK ever made. At least as of a year ago. If theres anything between 29 and 30" then that would take the title but a full 30" is yet to exist. But does it really matter? Big is big! Thats an awesome piece Spaceghost! Beautiful GCB too:thumbup:

20 inch Chiruwa Ang Khola made by Sher arrived here.
Already packed and will ship via EMS today. Thank you for your patience

A few years ago I purchased a 30 inch AK from LVC. There should be some info on it. He had it for sale here on bladeforums. Weight is 84 ounces. Makes my 57 ounce GRS feel like a kiddi toy.
