Hey all, I touched up my pacific salt se with the sharpmaker today. I used 40 degree. Anybody have any experience with which angle works better on spyderedge?

Thanks

I think I got this from the DVD, but I can't remember... I've always used the 40 degree setting when sharpening serrated blades with the SM. It can take a while using the white rods if your blade is dull. On rare occasion I've had serrated blades that were so dull and damaged that I had to go to the gray rods first. But again, 40 degrees has always worked well for me.

Yeah, I've been using 40 degrees and its working fine. The edge is pretty durable but I've been cleaning a lot of fish and cutting through ribs and spines, so I've had to do a couple of touch ups. I've come up with my own technique and it seems to be working pretty well.
