Thats awesome man I love hearing about people using one knife for years on end. I wish I could do that. Shoot if this was my thread the title would read "photos: one week of EDC history" and would have one additional knife in the picture.;)

That made me LOL! Same here, i think the only way I'll ever wear down a blade is over sharpening. "I'm going to carry this (enter knife of the week) for one year" ha ha, never happens. Good for the OP for sticking with a knife for so long! Thanks for the pics.

I love pics of knives/tools that have seen years of good, honest use, and been taken care of. I have several I 'go back to' all the time, but my EDC changes with the seasons; I can carry heavier knives in the winter.

I've been leaning toward things like heavier duty multi-tools & utility knives lately; I have a small Gerber that looks a little like that Leatherman Charge as far as wear goes, but I've had it for 12 years, and it still doesn't look too 'broken in'.

That Endura looks like it's been ridden pretty hard - what's the story on it?

thx - cpr

Thanks for the positive comments, the Endura had the tip broken off by me being stupid and throwing it into a piece of hardwood. Later I attempted to grind a new tip with a swedge( very roughly). I sharpen my knives using a diamond coated steel which eventually rounds off the serrations, but does the job. There's also some paint splattered on the Endura, can't remember why or how. Living here in Australia there's not much change in the seasons, never gets below freezing. All up I have over 30 folders, not including a Sebenza, yet! I should get into the habit of rotating the other folders for daily use but the Leatherman with pocket clip is really hard to walk past and just too versatile

Have to give you, a hand  for having self control.
Once I started hanging out on BF I went from 3 knives to a dozen, dozen.

Wow. Very cool. That Leatherman has seen some duty! That has to be the most sharpened-down Leatherman blade I've ever seen. I wish I had the patience to stick with the same knife, and get to know it for so long.

Thanks for sharing!
