Yeah I talked to the guy and he said he just put it that way because he didn't know what it was since it didn't look like any other 317. But I think 300bucks nailed it. Thanks 300I saw one on the auction site advertised as having "rare gunmetal" spines as if that is special. My thought was, "That's a creative advertising term for tarnish or corrosion."

Well Bert…I finally got around to reading the Sept BCCI newsletter and have to say I really enjoyed the article you wrote about your research and conclusions on the 317. Very informative!!
