Has there ever been a 300x camp/scout knife? If so, when?
If not I think they should make one, what do you think? A full size 3.75", with a spear blade, can opener (that works, not like Case's), bottle opener, punch, and bail.

Hello HMC,
No, Buck has never offered a 300 series knife with those impliments. Does sound like a handy knife though!

A good old fashioned jack knife, four blades as described with a bail to tie it to your belt loop every day including Sunday. Back in the day, we even carried them at school and played "mumbly peg" or "stretch" during recess. It just ain't the same country no more. Dang shame.

Seriously, a good old traditional scout with a large spearpoint, small pen, Bottle opener/screwdriver and can opener blades, is one I always wanted with "BUCK" on it!!!

Ok, You don't expect me to pass on this thread, do you.

I am married to 300 series Bucks, I have allowed a son-in-law or three from the 112 clan in the house once in a while. But, I am a sinner and I admit to having a military TL-29 slipjoint as a mistress.

But, if Buck made a couple of scout variations I think I could be true. Besides the one you guys talked about here is what I want.

Good blade, sawblade full length of blade well, flat point screwdriver with cap lifter, AND a sheepsfoot blade. A fellow who was looking at said knife for a go light deer/elk knife could grind out his own "curve" in the sheepsfoot edge for a safety point belly opening blade. I may try to find enough junker 313's, and 303 sheepsfoot, I have a sharpened out SAK for the screwdriver blade and find a sawblade that fits and then have Leroy build one.......the sawblade is handy to trim limbs for bowhunting, turkey hunting, etc. and to saw pelvis bone. Orange or yellow sawcut scales please........Might look something like this but with two blades on opposite ends........300Bucks

I appolgize for sorry creation, was short on time today....

Hi,

I'd buy two of each color - one for the collection and one to carry. Hope Buck decides to do it.

Never can tell, perhaps Buck could become the official BSA knife (instead of Bear & son).

I'd be happy.

Best - Joe
