Since Buck hasn't come out in a few years with new scale options for the 300 series, do you think that offering the 300 series with G-10 scales would be a success? I'm talking about the same scales that are on my Vantage Pro. I think it would make a beautiful series. Especially with nickel bolsters.

They had a Walmart Exclusive run of the 37x knives with black and blue G-10.
I have the 371 with G-10, nice knife.

Yes. I am aware of the Walmart offerings of the two-tone G 10 scales that were produced in China. I'm just really hoping for the entire 300 series to be made available in black G 10 with nickel bolsters (USA made). I think that would be sweet.

Interestingly, the 4 ChinaBuck offerings with G-10 had stainless steel bolsters. The 371 and 385 were Walmart exclusives but the 379 and 382 were in the general catalog. Personally I thought they were kind of uniquely neat but that seems to be a minority opinion on this forum.

The American 300's have been bypassed for upgrades in 2016 with only Valox and Rosewood offerings. The yellow Delrin and gray Dymondwood have slipped into oblivion.

I love G10 so if they offered American made 300 series (and 110,112) in that material I would be happy.

110 custom shop has black G-10 as an option. Don't know why the 112 does not have it.

I'd love to see some smooth red Delrin on the 300 series (like the smooth yellow Delrin done a few years ago). OH

I think it would. I purchased a case/Ruger stockman that came out a few years ago with red g10 scales and they sold well at the time. One thing I found out is Buck will not take submissions for new products from customers. Case in point look how the concern that is putting out the 51602 steel Bucks are doing and how Buck could make them as regular production and get all the profits.
