I have been obsessing about Buck 300 series knives and have put together a list. If I have missed any I would really appreciate any help you could give.

301 Stockman
303 Cadet
305 Lancer – including Buck Clippers
307 Wrangler
309 Companion
310 Whittler
311 Trapper
313 Muskrat
314 Mini Trapper
315 Yachtsman
317 Trailblazer
319 Rancher
321 Bird knife

I am sure there are lots of variants and I would like to hear about any you know of.

Sorry no info, but I take it that most of those are discontinued? I know the 301, 303, 305, but none of the others.

Hello,
There are a couple more plus a correction:
312 was the Mini-Trapper
314 Trapper (but not a slimline like the Camillus contract-made model 311)
322 Congress
329 Trapper (yes, another trapper)
Also, there are several other limited edition, Camillus-made 300 series contract models commissioned by Smokey Mtn. Knifeworks: Although I do not have a list with me, a California Toothpick, two barlows, and a couple more large trappers
come to my mind.
If you obtain a copy of the BCC newsletter from Sept. 2003, you can read my rather article which provides quite a bit detail. It is also available on the BCC website. The 300 series is fun to collect. They are abundant, affordable and have been made with several different inlay materials. Also, Schrade, Camillus and Buck have all contributed to the series.

Larry Oden

Thanks Larry
That really helps. My list was made from just what I had found on EBay over the last month. You are right. the 300s are really fun to collect.
