300 Sword

This is my rendition of the sword from the movie "The 300." The blade is 22 inches long and made from 80Crv2 steel. It has been aged, as has the guard and the copper ferrule. The weight is 2 lbs., and the point of balance is 5 inches in front of the guard. Phillip, I will be making a scabbard for it. When you make yours, you'll be surprised at how awkward the design actually is, I had to do a lot of tweaking to get it light and balanced. Worth it though.
