I have a3000A but see no DWO marking, also in an article I read and in a forum post listing of Kershaw knives, it says they were still made in Japan. Mine says Oregon USA.

Did I post in the wrong forum?

Maybe a little more information and a picture would help. Your first post makes me feel like I'm coming into the middle of a conversation that has already started and I have no clue what's happening.

Now we both don't understand each other...LOL. I'm posting with a Kershaw specific tag, giving a model # that says it's a DWO, asking if they are marked DWO anywhere and also asking where they are made because on this forum there is a thread of (all?) Kershaw models that says they are made in Japan but my knife says USA. Easy-peasy....I thought. I'll try posting a pict.

I can't attest to specifically the DWO series, but I have a couple of the 3320 and 1045a models, and from what I was told at the factory, those are some of the very early US-made ones from when Kershaw was based in Wilsonville, OR, ca. 1997, before moving to Tualatin ca. 2003.

Why don't you just ask Kershaw? They more than anyone else on this board would be the authority on the matter.

My son has a DWO that’s marked Kershaw DWO on one side, and 3000 and Japan on the other I believe.

Glad you thought of that...LOL...they said that it was an earlier '97 to 2000 model and they did not put the DWO lettering on it. Thanks
