I was there, no one stopped and said hello.

You might have seen me and didn't know it, I was wearing this with a different 300 knife in it every day.

Only got one knife but it was a good one. So far among all the Buck guys it is the only known 311 Trapper with scale rivets. Must have been one of the first hand-full that came out of Camillus factory. Also got a box that Cami. shipped the knives to Buck in.

Then when I got home this poor photoed knife from auction was waiting for me and was a pleasant surprise.

Well...if I had gone I would have said hi...

Always nice when a bad photo knife on ebay turns out to be a winner, I recently picked up a Fight'n Rooster that every pic was out of focus on ebay...was very cheap because of that.

I would have said hello had I been there, you would have been easy to spot. I have gone to a couple of knife shows, and I always ask about any BF members. I have met some, but mainly ones that do not frequent as much as I do. I am gonna try to make it to Blade next year. I have never been to Georgia. I hear the devil goes down there now and then. Maybe see you next year! Sans diablo!

Sorry to have missed you, Craig. With all that was going on it's inevitable that we don't remember some of the friends we missed until we get home. Hope to make up for it next year.

Nice pics. I really like that neck sheath. Did you make that yourself?

Rudderjt, (forum) made the sheath, I added the antler/dremel etched lettering.

I didn't look for anyone either as I got busy, behind the tall displays, taking photos of all the Buck Club special issue knives. If you walked by the Leather Ladies booth where the big grey dog was hanging out I was right across from that.
We had a little situation there, as the dog walked over and took a sandwich out of one of the guys hand as he was looking at a knife and talking to another person. Slight tooth marks were present......he was not amused......the dog seemed to like the sandwich....

I am planning on attending Blade next year(my first time). After seeing pictures of the Buck display you can bet I will find my way over and say "hi". :D
