Hello guys and gals. Heres on I am working on Its some Meteorite damascus with mammoth ivory handles. Will come in a walnut presentation box.

Ill post some more pictures of it after the box is done.

Yep, The damascus was forged by my son, here in my shop!

The meteorite came from outer space!! LMAO! :)

I'm glad I could provide a bit of levity this morning.
I know of a good stitcher that can reattached what was lost while laughing.:p

I was wondering what country it came from and what type of meteorite it was.

Did it come with space peanuts?:D HaHA!
 
lmao!! :) The meteorite that we used for this bar of damascus was a campo del cielo meteorite.

Indeed. I was blessed to be gifted a very nice piece. and from that we have made a couple bars of Galaxy pattern damascus! The stuff looks amazing natural.. polished and etched. It takes quite a bit of work to take the raw material and refine it down to be added to a bar of damascus. But its so worth it!

Here are a few images of the Box and finished knife. Its HARD to get a single photo that shows off both the box and the knife. Heck a knife this size is a challenge to get a good picture of! Let alone add a beautiful box to the picture. But I tried!
