Why isn't there more love for the 300sn? I'm in love with mine. The axis and flipper is a match made in heaven. Thing is a tank, designed so well. I only request BM to make more thumb hole models. I took the thumb studs off and love it more this way.

I want to see other 300sn lovers!

I like mine too. It seems to be a bit of a bastard child though with not too many people liking it at all.

I don't know...it's really wide to my eye or something. The shape of it reminds me of a hippo or a manatee especially with the big flipper it looks like a fin on a big chubby manatee or something. Not my cup of tea.

Big fan here too. I wasn't initially going to buy one based on reviews and comments here. Then I saw one at REI and after handling it for a bit I came home and ordered one and haven't looked back. Feels great and after a very minor tweaking I got it so that it is perfect for me. Opens and closes like butter whether by thumb studs, axis flip, or flipper (no wrist action needed.) Just proves that the opinions of others can be helpful, but the proof is in first hand experience, when feasible.
But then again,I'm a 530 fan too-'nuff said. :)

I would love to see a different color scale though. This tends to blend into its surroundings at times.

My 300SSN (yes I like serrations, sue me) has became my work EDC. I found a Benchmade sheath that closes with a clip and can be carried horizontally. So I removed the clip and that's how I carry it. Being in and out of a vehicle all day, I was afraid of losing it, but now I'm not.

I really do like this knife a lot. It feel great in my hand and I love the blade shape. Love the flipper too. Especially wearing gloves in the winter.

I came to this forum today to ask if dying the G-10 will void the warranty. I like the brown but I think I'm ready for something new. Maybe red. I'm afraid the light brown will turn out pink. That would suck.

Here's mine with my Ritter/Wlikins Mini Grip.

I love my little 300 but I also love the deployment from the thumb studs. This I believe, makes it one of the smoothest.
But it is also cool to have the flipper option. One of my favorite fondlers as well. Put it up with the Ripple for that.
Cheers

Where did you find the sheath? Which one is it?

I dislike mine, I had to cut off the flipper and grind out the middle finger groove to make it more my style. It is a very solid knife tho!
