Hey guys, kinda new to this sub forum as I have been a KAI guy. I have owned 3 Benchmades. An Emissary, 755, and now a 300sn.

The emissary, I wasn't crazy about, actually for the price I hated it. That's all for that one

The 755. Absolute tank of a knife! Never used it so my opinion won't serve much purpose. Just too short and bulky for me.

I had almost completely given up on Benchmade. I knew there was 1 more I had wanted to try since it had come out, the 300SN

This is the smoothest knife I have ever handled.

Blade steel, I had never had but so far it is terrific.

Fit and Finish is top notch.

This is the nicest, smoothest knife I have ever had in my hand. I was pleased I liked it but I didn't expect this. If you guys don't have one you NEED one I promise

I too loved the smooth action. I am not convinced I get flippers. I guess that is why there are so many knives. Glad you love this one!

Honestly, coming from someone who loves flippers, the flipper serves no purpose, other than being there so the knife can be labeled a flipper. The thumbstud works just as well

I have 2 versions. Both are great. The flipper works great, as does the thumb stud. Not unlike the plethora of Kershaws with both options. Variety is the spice of life!

I got rid of my 300SN, but just ordered a 300-1. I really liked the overall size of the 300 and none of the 300s I've ever handled/owned were a problem for me to flip, but there was just something about the 300SN that I didn't care for so I sold it (and immediately regretted it).

We'll see how these Blue contoured scales work for me.

I tried with BM300. Flipper isn't bad as one would think. Because BKC ship with tight tolerance, it may be extra firm in the beginning. It loosens up. (I tried shop display vs. new in the box. It is quite a difference.)

Unfortunately, only reason I am waiting (Like 470) for Benchmade would come up with longer handle. otherwise, I am game.

I just saw a 300SN today that a local dealer just got in, and although I didn't buy it on the spot, I think I might go back for it soon. I too am a Kershaw and ZT fan, but don't own any Benchmade folders, so this might be the "gateway drug" for me.

I just got my first ZT today. I own 2 Benchmades and have been steering to other brands lately. I have a ZT 0350ST and a Spyderco Paramilitary 2. They both seem a little better than my 300SN and my Rift although they are all great knives

Got my 300-1 in and the answer is yes - it fits me way better than my 300SN did. This one is perfect for what I need and I'm very much digging this little knife.

It is definitely a keeper.

If you like a knife to open and able to close one handedly, there are many locks. But what AXIS lock excels at are it also enables you to do in either hands. This is the main reason I am still on the fence about ZT and many other frame / liner lock blades.

This one wasn't really on my radar but watching a couple of video reviews and checking out the 300-1 has got me much more interested. Digging the black and blue G10. Kind of a toss up between another Rift or trying this out. Big life decisions! :D

My 300-SN is a keeper. I don't think I could ever part with it. The one handed action is awesome. Anyone that looks at my 300-SN loves how it opens and closes. The small awkward grip is the only slight issue I have with it. Other than that its very nice. Mine is no longer Tan, I dyed it black.

I simmered mine in orange Rit dye.

I also just bought the -1 (blue/black skinnier version)

The flipper works great this time of year when you're wearing gloves!

I've been carrying mine for a year now and love it. I actually like how the flipper isn't so intense, like an assisted flipper.

My wife gave me both a ZT-0777 and a BM 300 (PB) for my birthday last summer. I have some ZT's that I am quite fond of - but I cannot think of a BM that I don't love - the 300 included. Within a few weeks I only had the 300 - and had the money for a late summer trip to Gulf Shores with my wife (I took the 300, too!). In my use, the thumbstud is all I needed - the flipper seemed superfluous. A common steel for BM, it's still a winner - as is the AXIS lock.

Truth be told, that 0777 was nice - just too rich for my tastes. The 300 is just right!

The tan 300 looks amazing but after some time I simmered mine to a nice jet black......now I am making custom scales for it. This is a cool little knife and I don't think I could part with it. I only have one knife in my collection that does nothing for me......it needs to go soon. LOL Addiction. The orange looks like it took well also.
