301 or 303 for whittling and edc?

The 303 is a lot more pocketable. It is plenty big to handle most edc chores IMHO.

303, for sure, they are strong enough but thin enough in the grind to do a decent job as a whittler...

I have both of them, but the 303 gets a lot more pocket time and easily handles common EDC chores. It is 10 lbs of knife in a 5 lb bag

I like the 303 size in my hand for whittling with; I mainly rely on the Sheepfoot blade for my whittling. OH

I dunno, the 301 really fills my meat hooks. I've done my terrible whittling with it too. It suffices.
