Can anyone tell me when the liners of the 303 Cadet was changed from brass to stainless?

Thanks,
Dan

Thanks for the info. I was thinking of the backsprings being Stainless.

NS for the bolsters and liners from 1990 on.

A friend asked me this question and since I collect the 303, I was embarassed that I didn't know the answer.

Can the Historian confirm the above? Thanks, Dan

Checked the box and have a 303 X (1990)with brass liners. Two 303 + (1991) all stainless. Not a conclusion but a clue.

Just picked up a bone handled 1990 Cadet, (303x), and it has brass liners. It also has 3 back springs. I looked through my collection and noticed a 1988, (303^) that has only 2 back springs. I don't know when this change came about. I know there must be many variations but I thought these tidbits may be of interest to those collecting slipjoints.

Ditto. 1988 - 2 springs, 3 brass spacers; 1989 - 3 springs, 2 brass spacers; same for 1990; NS + SS 1991. Black handles. Don't have continous years in other handle materials...
