303 cost

I found a 1989 Buck 303 with yellow handles at a junk store that was marked 55.00, they would take 10% off for a final price of 49.50. Does anyone think this price is a little high or about right? The bolsters need to be polished out but the blades look NCUS (Never Carried Used or Sharpened).

The link you showed was to a new model Buck. As a 1989 date stamp it will have a different shield on the scale. For that era one type is better than the other.
Here is a photo of a 80s era yellow standard knife,bolt and hammer shield beside a 2010 era yellow blue Buck shield knife.

Here is photo of a BUCK shield that was placed on some 80s era knives. Was it like this?

If it was the second one and you told me where it was I would sneak in there when they open in the morning and get it. Not really....after all I am not in FL...ha
