31 Detent Ball Large vs Small Fitment

Both knives are fully closed, both are current C22 production from November. The detents are firm on both as they’re new, with no play.

The large hole diameter appears to be oversized compared to the ball and is not centered - note the opposite side bushing visible through the blade.

The small fits perfectly into its seat.

I wouldn't worry about it buddy! Out of curiosity I just pulled out 3 of my large 31s, 2 of my Inkosis, and my Zaan to compare. All three the exact same as your large. I'd whole heartedly trust any of those 6 knives. You are very perceptive, I'll give you that. Never in 1,000,000 years would I have noticed such a thing.
