Finally got in my 311 (btw since i dont frequent this side of the tracks much :D i hope this is the right place to post)

I gotta say that this one is done right. I had a 511 and before the box hit the floor i sold it. It was too small a handle for that big of a blade even tho the handle was comfy. But when i heard that the 311 was the same handle, small blade i had to get one. I gotta say i like it alot. I havent done anything with it yet but fondle, but it fits well in hand (as the 511 did) but the difference is the weight and balance. I hope i can find a pocket sheath for it since my universal sharpshooter pocket sheath isnt wide enough to accept the handle and i back pocket carry my small fixed. Perhaps an azwelke taco can solve that problem even though i prefer leather in pocket. Im very happy and will update as i use it. great job SYKCO

my only grip is the color. Im not a fan of black. I would LOVE to see a satin blade tan handle model, or a MO i can strip. otherwise its great

preliminary pics just for fun

I agree, the 311 is just about perfect. A tan one would be great. Maybe the next Ganza (hint, hint).

Congrats on your 311!! It is a great feeling knife in the hand.

I agree on the 511, i wish the grip was a little more 711ish. But, its still one of my favorite blades.

The 311 is the perfect size EDC for me.

I have a 711 but I've been taking a long look at the 311 as well. If I had the money, one would already be in my hand.

Man, congrats on the deviation form BH-dom. Just do it! Strip and then 'clich' it it sure will be fun to see. And as for handle color, there are some tan 511 you can switch them, I think if you search around on this side of the tracks you might find a how to. And you could re-handle the 5 with wood or micarta to make it longer. Come on, on your side of the tracks you are the mod guru...

I have the MO Camo 511 and the 311 and they are my go to combo for my walks in the wilderness. This is a light package that can handle all the basics and then some. Switching out the handles sounds like a good idea, I cant wait to see some pictures before I take the plunge.
