and its the devil to try and get a picture of the hamon. i will keep tiring
the blade is aldos W2 clay coated and parks 50 quenched. hollowed on the back with a 4' platten and ground on the front the same way.
the handle is in the WA style with a SS front then ceder burl and spalted wormy maple all are stabilized

the best way that i have found to make a oct handle is to first make it square to the blade then just knock off the corners are 45 degree angle
the trick is the slight taper from back to front
