The Granton Santoku, Tomato/Cheese, Bread and the Fish Knife from the Pure Komachi line of Kai/Kershaw/Shun.

*No Internationals
*1 guess, and one guess only

*You have to have your guess in prior to tipoff of the first game.
*You can't be on my ignore list. (Actually, no one is on my ignore list so you're safe for now) :D

Contest:
San Antonio Spurs vs. New York Knicks on Tuesday Feb 17th.
Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Toronto Raptors on Wednesday Feb 18th.

Looking for the combined total score of the games.
Example:
San Antonio 110 Knicks 80 = 190 +
Clevenland 98 Toronto 96 = 194
Total of scores = 384

Closest total wins.

-My guess, 395 combined between the two games.

-My favorite Kershaw is my Blur (S60V Blem, it's a good EDC and wicked sharp) or my lockback (~4" blade, don't know much about it) circa 1970's that was my great grandpas.

As for my favorite model, JYD 1720. Its cheap, frame lock, built like a tank, and once you get it wore in a smooth opener.

favorite shun would be anything in the kaji line or the elite line. kershaw....don't ask, hurts too much. ZT? probably the MUDD but i don't own all of them yet ;)

Awesome contest, I'll go with 367 points total.


My favorite.... Really, just one?! Well, my current favorite or most wanted is the ZT0200, or more precisely the 0205 variant. That is just a ton of knife for the money. I like most everything from Kai, but I love value more even as I'm poor!

EDIT - I have been looking at some knives for my kitchen so I looked up the above loot to see more about them as I know nothing on cooking knives yet. (my kitchen knives are shameful for a knife guy) I found this review on Amazon.com and loved it:

I'm a bit confused. I was cutting a roll with the bread knife, and it went right through the roll and on through my finger, causing me to get four stitches at the emergency room--but I'm made of meat! This is an uncommonly sharp knife set, and my wife--who is from Japan--tells me that it's because the company that makes it is most famous for making razor blades. As a man who shaves regularly, and has recently sliced his finger with the bread knife, I can attest to the fact that these knives are indeed razor sharp.

If I had to pick a favorite it would probably be the all black Ener-G II.

And my Favorite Kershaw/ZT is the ZT0300 - that knife is a BEAST! :-)
