Small show, but in a great area, beautiful mountains to take a hike in. Slipjoints to tacticals, all kinds of stuff. Hopefully, 334dave with his Buck 110 collection .

Nothing wrong with a Saturday drive! On the way to the Washington Monument SP, you will pass Bill Morans shop on the side of the road. It's in disrepair, but the proposed museum has been making some advances. Also, Edgeworks, a neat little knife shop, is in Frederick proper, just a couple blocks from the show. The owner is a good guy, and his prices are pretty reasonable for a brick and mortar. There are a couple neat spots in Frederick, but the real fun is up in the mountains. Crystal Grottoes caverns, although they may not be open as early as April (it was ice cold the last time I went in July). Antietam and Harpers Ferry about a half hour down the road from Frederick.

Damn, I got the traveling bug bad!

If its a decent day and im feelin 80%, ill go. Frederick as i recall has shopping centers that were LITERALLY built in Corn fields within the last 8 yrs or so. Its still pretty nice. Its 4 hours for me one way but i can do that standing on my head.
