Thirty four years ago the lads down at the Case factory put the finishing touches on this peanut and sent it out the door. I don't know where it was all these years but it found its way to ebay the other day and then found its way to my shack. I was the only bidder.
I don't understand how a classic Case peanut like this had only one bidder. I mean we are talking about the "Majestic Peanut". :D

Quite a score there Rob, I did not even see it, if I had there would have at least 2 bidders.:D
Nice one Congrats,

BTW: I was one of two bidders on two Remington Peanuts last nite, found out they are the prototypes from China:grumpy: that was in Kevin Pipes office. Total cost 10.49 for both of them, Going to pick them up next week when passing by the Store. I figured just about any old knife is worth 5 bucks and change.

It found a good home.. Good score.
It's funny how every once in a while you will find a perfectly good knife that no one bids on. Then a week later you can find an identical knife that goes for more than it really should

Goes to the old adage...Sometimes you feel like a 'nut, sometimes you don't. ;)

Beautifull little knife!

It deserves to be carried and used. To live again.

Jim

I have a China Remington peanut. They are decent quality knives and are very smoothe. They are more than worth $5 each.

That Little Peanut has come home. Glad you snagged it, Rob!
Jim...your Peanuts are a tad FESTIVE...getting in the Christmas Spirit already? hehehehe
