34OT - Which blade for which type of cutting?

The clip is a general cutting or puncturing blade you can cut a sandwich open a letter or skin a squirrel. However you should clean your blade if you do all three and do the squirrel first. The sheepsfoot is more for cutting or scoring a straight line or even to whittle. The spey blade is more of a gents pocket blade clean the nails stick the end of your cigar or perhapes its original use as the name implies and you wish to denut something or someone. However these are general connotations and designations more for recognition than specific uses. LT

I think it is a personal thing, to me the sheepsfoot is the general utility blade use for most everything, the clip is kept clean and used for slicing as in bread or fruit, I try to keep the spey very sharp for detail work.

My personal preferance is; sheepsfoot for ropes and straps, clip for food and wood and fishes, spey for nasty dirty work.
