After liking the 530 so much, I was going to pick up a 3550 Pardue for work, but moving costs have put this blade on the back-burner for now..

For those who own one, do you have any issues with it? How have the springs held up? Overall performance? I expect good things, and I love the simple design.. I was planning on sticking this on my tac vest.

I personally love the knife.

Very descrete, easy to deploy, light (without liners).

Not meant for heavyduty, I carry mine daily on scrubs @ work.

Truly one of my favs.

Have had mine for 5-6 months without issue. Lock seems flimsy but no issues.

Has worn well, but I don't stress the knife much.

I'm getting one in a couple months. My dad has one that he's had for at least 10 years and carried every single day.

I have owned one FOREVER and loved it.

Mine has seen the tops of hundreds of peaks, the bottom of countless lakes, spent days in the Pacific Ocean while spearfishing, and lived in my skiing kit for months getting drenched in sweat.

I eventually needed to replace the blade because it was so used up. The main spring broke after a LONG time of abuse. I walked it into Benchmade and they returned it rebladed with ALL new internals. The only original equipment on the knife is the handle slabs and the pocket clip. They sent me a new clip with the knife, but I refuse to take away the visual history that is engraved on the original clip. Those scratches are from volcanoes, coral, lake rocks, mountains, work benches, and asphalt. The most recent scratches came from me laying submerged in flood waters while attaching tow straps to stranded vehicles. This knife will no doubt be back in my pocket as soon as the novelty of my OTF's subsides.

Thanks for all the comments guys, I'm definitely gonna pick one up when my move is finished..

Pardue's simple designs are a big selling point for me, and the spear-point is very handy - prob. a new fav ;)

I've owned and carried my 3550's for well over a decade, if you do your own mx like me, buy a few strong springs from that place that sells knifekits*. You'll be set for a decades use, easily.
